Here's some pics of two projects I'm working on:
A spring quilt, from these fabrics....

...to these stripes, cut and ready for piecing....more to follow!....

These are stripes from a Batik Stripes Swap from a quilting forum, yummy colours for sure!
These have turned into these.......

one day these too will be completed!

This one is special...a while ago one of my quilting groups requested that we submit a block to help out a fellow quilter who lost her loved one. This is the final result........my block is in there somewhere!

Please enjoy these pics....since this is my year in the Chinese calendar, the year of the Snake, I will attempt to finish all my UFOs, of which I have many, and post as I quilt along.........
Here's one I completed about two or three years ago, memory fades me as to when I actually quilted this....my sis owns this now.......

My Historical Quilting...My very first few quilts!
I don't have many pictures of quilts that I quilted over the years, partly because I haven't made many, but also because of moving many times during my previous career and of course computer crashes. Being a computer technician in my previous life, you'd think I would have backups, but no not me, computers don't crash for me, boy was I wrong! I did manage to find a few...

Paper-Piecing....Have you tired it yet?
This is my first ever paper-piecing quilting project. I tested a pattern from here . It is a super easy pattern to follow, and the results are simply amazing. The pattern is called Intersections, and is available from the link above.

I used charm packs from Moda for the diamonds, Kona Snow for the back ground fabric and a brown and black polka dot fabric for the stripes. I still need to quilt and bind the quilt. That will take some time. The charm pack is designed by Malka Dubrawsky and is the Simple Marks line.
